We want your invitations to be PERFECT! Thanks for your attention, and for helping us meet this deadline for you!

If you have an idea of how you would like to use Twisted Limb Paperworks at your celebration, but don't see it here, please talk to us about it. . . We want to make your invitations, announcements, and accessories unique to you, and exactly how you imagine them to be!

ABOUT YOUR DESIGN and DRAFT APPROVAL

Please have your wording (invitation, reply card, and any other card info.), font choice and flourish choice to Dana at design@twistedlimbpaper.com at least three weeks before your ship date.

Shortly thereafter, you will receive 2 different initial drafts of your invitation, and one first draft of your reply card, address, and any other additional card or thank you note ordered. These will be sent via e-mail as PDF attachments, unless you request otherwise.

Please review these drafts carefully. Before sending in any request for changes, spend some time thinking exactly how you want each design to look. Our designer, Dana, will create only one final draft (per item-invite, reply, address, hotels, directions, etc.) from your comments for your written approval (via e-mail). Labor for any changes made after the final draft has been sent to you will be billed at $60/hour.

Also, if you cannot open the PDF files, or cannot see the correct font or flourish, please let us know and your files will be sent some other way. If you are unsure about a font, please compare it with the sample printed in our catalog.

We need your approval of the final draft at least one week before your ship date in order to complete your order on time. Thanks for your attention, and for helping us meet this deadline for you!

ORDERING YOUR INVITATIONS

In preparation for your order, we invite you to use our convenient online "Wish List" application to organize your thoughts. You can then submit this summary to a Twisted Limb consultant for further review and discussion. We suggest you DOWNLOAD AND PRINT A CHECKLIST (javascript and popups must be enabled) to make sure all items and options are covered as you peruse our website to develop your creation! YOU CHOOSE— ORDER VIA PHONE OR WISH LIST, whichever suits you. If you have questions, please call!

To place an order, you will need the following information:

1. Your name (as it appears on your credit card), mailing address, phone, e-mail

2. The style, color(s) and amount of invitations needed

  • handmade paper color and inclusions color
  • cardstock and envelope color
  • stitching, ribbon, raffia, or hemp color where applicable
(remember that couples and families only need 1 invitation, so that the number of guests does not equal the amount of invitations you need.) Because we are custom making your invitations, WE NEED AN EXACT INVITATION COUNT WHEN YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER.

PLEASE PLAN AHEAD!
There is a $40 reorder fee for requesting additional invitations (under 25) after we've already shipped your invitations. Occasionally, we will have your color in stock, but most of the time, we are custom making this paper for you soon after you order. If you'd like to change your color after your paper has already been made, you have two options: --to purchase the original paper in addition to your invitations. --to pay the $40 reorder fee plus a 25% surcharge for making a new color. If we make you a new color, we cannot guarantee your original ship date. Thank you for your consideration.

3. A credit card # (Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express), the expiration date, billing address, and 3 digit security code from the back of the card (4 digits from front of Amerian Express card), either to pay for your deposit and balance, or to keep on file while processing your check(s). (You can order your invitations before having all the details of your wording prepared [locations, times,etc.] so that your handmade paper can begin being made.)

If the value of your order is less than $100, or if we will be shipping your order within one week, we request permission to charge the total cost of your paper/invitations at the time of your order.

If you are not prepared with your invitation wording when ordering, you will want to begin thinking about it soon afterwards. Please send your wording, (invitation, reply card, reply address, and any other card info.) with your font choice and flourish choice, either within the e-mail or as an attachment to Dana at design@twistedlimbpaper.com at least three weeks before your ship date. Your 50% deposit must be paid before we create drafts of your invitation. Click here to read about our design and draft approval process.

Only 25% of this deposit is refundable, due to costs incurred processing your order
The remainder will be charged to your card the week we ship your invitations. If you plan to pay with a check, it must arrive a week before your shipping date.

Invitation prices do not include shipping/handling. We ship UPS ground, unless you request otherwise, and have set shipping/handling fees so that you know all of your costs up front. Sales tax is not included in these prices, and must be paid by Indiana residents.

We assume no responsibility for items shipped via US Post in a padded mailer. These packages cannot be tracked.

Our turnaround on orders can be 4-7 weeks and varies depending upon the work load here at Twisted Limb at any given time. We assign ship dates on a first come first served basis, so please order as early as possible. This also means that smaller or less involved orders don't necessarily get turned around faster. However, any additional time that you can give us on large orders of 250+ invites is greatly appreciated. Orders with multiple items (invites, thank you notes, programs, guest book) may be given 2 different ship dates.

Remember, your invitations are handmade with care. . . in the words of our first studio managers, "we need enough time for the magic to happen!"

Please inquire about our current turnaround times. If you need an order shipped sooner than our set ship date, we charge an additional 25% RUSH FEE on your entire order, and may request that you purchase overnight or 2-day shipping to meet your personal deadline.
